Wyer's End Subdivision

A thoughtfully designed "pocket neighborhood" in White Salmon, featuring integrated civil engineering, stormwater management, and comprehensive site planning.

Located in the beautiful small town of White Salmon, nestled in the rugged bluffs overlooking the Columbia River, Wyer's End is a "pocket neighborhood" crafted of closely-knit homes centered around common landscaped spaces that harbor a sense of community while providing convenient access to neighborhood resources and local amenities.

The Challenge & Scope

Developing a tightly integrated neighborhood on rugged bluffs required precise land surveying and rigorous civil engineering. The project scope demanded meticulous management of site grading, complex utility routing within a constrained footprint, and robust stormwater abatement strategies to satisfy stringent municipal and environmental regulations.

The Solution

BDC provided end-to-end engineering and management services for this significant community development. Our team successfully handled all code compliance, geographical surveying, and preliminary PUD plat submittals. We engineered comprehensive utilities plans, site grading, and NPDES-compliant stormwater abatement systems, ultimately securing full plan-set approval and paving the way for a vibrant, sustainable neighborhood.

Key Deliverables

  • Civil Site Design Comprehensive site plans, grading, and utilities routing.
  • Land Surveying Geographical surveying and PUD plat submittals.
  • Stormwater Abatement NPDES permit applications and drainage design.
