City of White Salmon Municipal Water Improvement

Comprehensive study, design, and construction management for critical municipal water system upgrades, including new reservoirs and well fields.

BDC provided professional engineering services for the City of White Salmon’s extensive water system improvements. The project encompassed the development of two new reservoirs, a well field consisting of two wells, accompanying waterlines, and multiple systemic upgrades to ensure a reliable municipal water supply.

The Challenge & Scope

The improvements required extensive site-work and the navigation of complex, multi-agency permitting processes. BDC was tasked with providing all siting and surveying services while directly overseeing a diverse team of specialists, including archaeologists, biologists, hydro-geologists, geophysicists, and geotechnical engineers.

The Solution

BDC managed the project from predesign through construction, seamlessly administering permitting from agencies including WSDOT, WSDOE, WSDOH, and Klickitat County. Furthermore, we assisted the City in administering and ensuring compliance with the stringent requirements of the Community Development Block Grants and other funding sources that made the project possible.
