BDC is locally owned and operated in Bingen, Washington, and incorporated in September 1994 with a vision of providing the counties of Klickitat, Skamania, Wasco, and Hood River with professional engineering and surveying services.
Bell Design Company has provided many engineering and land surveying services for cities and communities within the Columbia River Gorge, as well as some larger cities outside of the Gorge, including Vancouver, WA, and the Portland Metropolitan area. From master planning to permitting and from facility design to construction management, BDC has provided the City of Hood River, the City of White Salmon, the City of Bingen, Skamania County, Klickitat County, and many local utility districts with engineering services related to roads, water transmission systems, water treatment, sanitary sewers, stormwater, parks, and even cemeteries.

His experience includes: hydraulic modeling, water supply projects, sanitary sewer evaluation studies, combined sewer overflow analysis, pump station design, water and sewer line design, reservoir design, stormwater hydrology and design, surge analysis, and construction management.
Dev Bell is an owner and active professional consulting engineer for Bell Design Company who specializes in road design, structural and geotechnical engineering. He has experience with contracts and design on public works projects, structural design, soil stability, transportation and roadway projects, water and sewer system design, and inspection of public works project installations.
Austin R. Bell has worked for Bell Design Company for over 24 years and specializes in land surveying and UAV Mapping, including both field and office work. He has extensive experience in numerous areas of land surveying, including project management, land development, topographical mapping, infrastructure mapping, GPS surveying and legal description interpretation.
